By day, Martha Powers worked in a Chicago ad agency. By night, she wrote musical comedy plays for local theaters and a newspaper humor column. In 1986, she won Romance Writers of America´s Golden Heart. Nine Regency novels later, she turned to suspense writing. Simon & Schuster published SUNFLOWER and BLEEDING HEART. Oceanview Publishing released DEATH ANGEL in October, 2006, and CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE will be released November, 2008. Martha resides in Vero Beach, Florida.
